The Officers Group
The Officers Group was founded in 1979 by John Carden, a Sergeant of the Beverly Hills Police Department. Personal Safety was always a concern for John. As a peace officer patrolling the neighborhoods of Beverly Hills, he realized the need for a qualified security company in Los Angeles providing executive protection and security guard services. Upon his retirement he began building The Officers Group with a small number of select police officer offering highly trained armed security officers in Los Angeles.
It began as a small business selling tear gas, standing guard at construction sites and lavish condominiums on Wilshire Blvd.
Soon The Officers Group was known throughout the entertainment industry. Providing security for the studio's television and movie productions, as well as their stars.
Through the years the business evolved into a nationwide security firm in Los Angeles with associates throughout the United States.
His passion and charm were the key to his success in the security business and in his life. His spirit remains a driving force behind the continued success of the company.
